The use of infiltration made it possible to catch an employee responsible for a theft whose loot amounted to more than 50,000 euros. The criminal courts judged the procedure lawful and therefore retained it in their debates.

In the context of a theft case between an employee and her employer, the judges ordered the latter to fully reimburse the complainant for the costs and fees of the private detective hired to provide proof of the offense.
